What’s your title? What do you do?
I manage the Client Satisfaction team who reach out to existing clients and help improve a variety of aspects around their experience with Vision whether it be service, contract, account management or product related.
I also head up the Retentions department where I liaise with different departments within Vision to help retain clients who are considering leaving Vision for one reason or another.
I also am the account manager for some commercial clients, responsible for the day-to-day running of the account and the growth of their contracts.
Tell us about your journey at Vision so far…
How long have you worked here? Which other roles (if any) have you held?
I started in March 2020, a week before we went into lockdown due to the Corona Virus pandemic.
My first position was an account manager in the Southwest region, then moved into commercial sales at Hertford before starting my current role in February 2022.
What’s the most interesting project you’ve been involved with during your time at Vision?
Most recently working on digital transformation opportunities for a new business client with our professional services team. The client is a manufacturer and distributor of rice, suppling many manager UK base companies such as Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda etc. We are helping to completely transform their current process of how they manage inbound and outbound deliveries, reducing paper-based processes and helping increase productivity & efficiencies.
What do you enjoy most about working here?
The people at Vision very welcoming and friendly. It's a great place to work. The pool table and coffee machine are a bonus too!
How would you describe the company culture at Vision?
Professional but relaxed. Everyone works to a high standard but keeps the general atmosphere casual which makes for an enjoyable working environment.
What’s next for you? Where do you want to be in 5 years?
I would like to grow the retentions & client satisfaction team in order to find more opportunities where we can help improve the Vision experience for our clients and drive further sales opportunities from those situations.
Eventually I would like to be in a director’s position within Vision.
Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?
I manage both my U7’s & U16’s boys football teams. Helping run our stable yard where we keep our family horses.
Finally, what’s an interesting fact about you that people don’t know?
In 2007 I broke a world record - Most Hugs to Different People in 24hrs. On the morning of June 1st, 2007, my friend and I started our challenge on Chicago’s famous Michigan Avenue and finished 24 hours later having completed 4,288 whilst raising over $5,000 for our charity, Dream’s For Kids – a children’s charity based out of Chicago, IL. The previous record held was 4,135.
