Tell us a bit about your current role here at Vision.  What do you do?

I work in the Client Services Department as a Client Services Representative, and we’re proud to be the first point of contact when clients need support—whether that’s troubleshooting device issues or ordering consumables.

One of my core responsibilities is managing the scheduling of our engineering team, making sure emergency callouts, return-to-fit visits, and installations are handled efficiently and effectively. I also work closely with my manager, Alison, to track and manage outstanding calls, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks and that our clients continue to receive timely, high-quality service.

Tell us about your journey at Vision so far… How long have you worked here? Which other roles (if any) have you held?

I've now been here for 6 years and honestly, I can’t believe how quickly the time has flown! When I first joined, I came from an education-based background and had never worked in an office before, so I really didn’t know what to expect. Fast forward almost six years, and I’ve grown so much both professionally and personally. The learning curve was steep at times, but every experience has taught me something valuable, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

What’s the most interesting project you’ve been involved with during your time at Vision?

One of the most interesting (and challenging!) projects I’ve been involved in was the transition from Service Accent to Vantage Online. It honestly felt like relearning a job I already knew inside out. I was heavily involved in the hands-on side of the switch, as well as helping to train the rest of the team during the rollout. I’ll admit, I wasn’t exactly excited about the change at first, but it’s turned out to be a huge improvement. It’s made us more efficient and streamlined our day-to-day work in ways I didn’t expect...

What do you enjoy most about working here?

My favourite part about working at Vision has got to be the employees – I have met so many lovely people during my time here and formed some lifelong friendships.

How would you describe the company culture at Vision?

At Vision, there's a strong focus on teamwork and a genuine family feel to the company. I feel very fortunate to work in a place where I can approach anyone with a problem and know they’ll be there to help.

What’s next for you? Where do you want to be in 5 years?

In the next five years, I’d like to progress in my role to potentially become a supervisor in the department.

Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?

Outside of work I love spending time with my friends and family and travelling abroad.

Finally, what’s an interesting fact about you that people don’t know?

Surprisingly a lot of people don’t know that I have a twin sister!
