Tell us a bit about your current role here at Vision.
What’s your title? What do you do?
I am the Enterprise Services Post Sales Technical Lead here at Vision, this means that I am responsible for the deployment and support of the various Digital Transformation software solutions supported by Vision. As Technical Lead I am responsible for the successful and smooth transition from Proof Of Concept through to BAU and ensure that the right members of my team are allocated and supported. I also play an active role in ensuring our Helpdesk team are upskilled, up-to-date and supported.
Tell us about your journey at Vision so far…
How long have you worked here? Which other roles (if any) have you held?
I joined Vision in July 2020 as a Post Sales Consultant. Vision quickly identified my strengths and have supported me and my development, including my promotion to Technical Lead in October 2022. I continue to grow within Vision with the various opportunities presented to me.
What’s the most interesting project you’ve been involved with during your time at Vision?
Every project I’m involved in gets the same dedication and attention to detail from myself and the team, I don’t really have a favourite.
What do you enjoy most about working here?
The opportunity to grow and develop myself and my colleagues around me. Everyone has a can-do attitude and everyone is willing to muck in and work together.
How would you describe the company culture at Vision?
Vision culture is very people focused, If you want to achieve something there is someone backing your corner and willing you to succeed.
Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?
A lot of my time outside work is spent problem solving with cars and racing. I enjoy taking things apart and learning how they work and racing with my modifications to see if they give me a competitive edge. I also spend a lot of time programming and writing code for little mini projects such as custom 3d printer firmware, robotic process automation and applications which will help me in work too. When I really want to wind down and relax, I really enjoy Axe Throwing.
