Earl Robinson
Co-founder & Joint Chairman
Earl has been involved in the print industry since 1979 when he started as a junior salesman selling photocopier brands such as A B Dick, Olympia, Gestetner, 3M and Toshiba.
With no formal qualifications Earl, along with his business partner Allen has been instrumental in helping Vision to navigate 3 recessions, Brexit and the Covid pandemic lockdowns!
In recent years, like Allen, Earl has had much less involvement with the day to day running of the business. In his own words, he “has left it to the younger dynamic management team and board of directors to grow and develop the business”.
Whilst not as involved as he once was, Earl still enjoys seeing the business grow and adapt, and particularly enjoys seeing how the staff develop and grow with the business.
Outside of work, Early enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, and has a passion for boating, diving and motorbikes. He puts his passion for motorbikes to good use by volunteering as a ‘Blood Runner’ for Essex Voluntary Blood Service (EVBS).
As one of a very small number of riders that is Blue Light trained, Earl rides around 25,000 miles per year delivering blood, plasma, platelets, frozen product and human donor milk to hospitals and blood banks situated in and around Essex, often also relaying with other groups for cross border transfers.
