Vision shall process information where individuals can consent to receive information on Vision’s products & services that may be tailored to their own business needs.

Contractual

Vision shall process business information in order to perform contractual obligations as part of the products and services provided.

Legitimate interests

Vision shall process business information in order to protect its commercial interests – Your individual rights, freedoms & interests are a cornerstone of our business ethos and Vision shall only use information to perform expected business generation opportunities. An assessment has been performed by Vision to determine that this is the most suitable basis for processing information used to generate new business opportunities.

Legal Obligation

Vision shall process information as part of their legal obligation as an employer and provider of commercial products and services.

Source of Data

Information that is processed by Vision has been sourced from individuals under legal or contractual obligations or from data gathered from business generation activities.

What personal data do we collect?

We collect personal data of our employees, candidates, suppliers, client business contacts and website users. We will always try to give individuals appropriate notice of what data will be collected and how it will be used. Whatever happens, we will only process that data if we consider it fair and lawful to do so.

Cookies

Our website does not store any information that would, on its own, allow us to identify individual users of this service without their permission. Any cookies that may be used by our website are used either solely on a per session basis or to maintain user preferences. Cookies are not shared with any third parties.

Will we share your personal data with outside parties?

We may transfer personal data to our contracted service providers and advisors who may be located in other European Economic Area countries. About data security?

We take appropriate steps to maintain the security of personal data collected. Regarding your data including IP Addresses, e mail addresses, use of our applications, portals and websites you should understand that the open nature of the Internet is such that information and personal data may flow over networks connecting you to our systems without security measures and may be accessed and used by people other than those for whom the data is intended. Our web site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the sites of our partners e.g. waste collection and other services. Where will your personal data be processed?

Personal data we collect may be routed, stored, or transferred within Vision in accordance with our organisation’s rules and to our vendors in accordance with data privacy laws for delivery of our products and services.

Retention of your data

We will retain your personal data only for as long as is legally required and whilst we continue to provide our products and services. We will also retain your data for compliance and legal purposes including health & Safety and taxation. If you have an account and contract for products and services with us, we will only keep the data while your account is active or for as long as needed to provide services to you and, as further needed for us to comply with our legal and contractual obligations.

For consent, Vision shall keep in touch with individuals to obtain consent to continue to process information on a regular basis (at least annually).

For legitimate interests, Vision shall hold on record information that is applicable for commercial opportunities for a minimum of 2 years unless the information has been updated or changed at the request of the data subject.

Your rights

You are entitled to know whether we hold personal data about you and, if we do, to have access to that personal data and require it to be corrected if it is inaccurate. We generally do not make decisions by purely automatic means, but if we do, you have the right to object.
