Vision's Committment to Charity and Local Communities

Every year Vision aims to support and raise funds for its chosen charity Teens Unite, as well as other charities and local communities.  Teens Unite help youngsters between the ages of 13 and 24 with life limiting illnesses.  It was co-founded in 2007 by Karen Millen OBE and Debbie Pezzani and evolved out of a passion for supporting those in need and following several years of research in the teenage cancer field, ascertaining what was lacking for this age bracket.

Vision's Annual Charity Golf Day, June 2018

On Friday 1st June Vision held its Annual Charity Golf Day at the beautiful Essendon Country Club.

It was a glorious day, the sun came out and so did the golf skills of each player to make the event enjoyable by all.  Challenges included longest drive and nearest the pin.  There was some tough competition!

A huge thank you to the companies that attend each year.  The event could not have taken place without your continued support and generous raffle prize donations.

This year’s golf event raised £1,390.00 for Teens Unite.  A fantastic result.

Shine Charity, April 2018

Vision are proud to support Shine, a charity providing support pre-birth and throughout the life of anyone living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and related conditions, as well as to parents, families, carers and professional care staff.  Shine enables people to get the best out of life.

On 14th June 2018, Shine’s Family Support Balloon Race takes place.  Concerned with the environmental impact of real balloon launches, Shine’s races are now virtual, online and interactive while still promoting their cause and raising money.  Vision have purchased 8 balloons for this race.  Good Luck to all who have entered.

Round Table, October 2017

 RoundTable

Great Dunmow & District Round Table is a charity which is run by volunteers who give up their time to run a number of events through the year to raise money to support local and national good causes. Over the past 10 years they have raised over £300,000.

Vision’s James Gallop has been very active in supporting the Roundtable and their work locally in Great Dunmow, Essex and James and Vision have contributed to a local family who have a young disabled child.  Specifically the donation has helped towards some much needed upgrades to their home to make it more suitable for a wheelchair user and to provide much needed, specialist physio therapy.
