Vision’s flexible solution and approach delivered high performance with cost savings at major estate agent and lettings company

Vision's audit and discovery highlighted opportunity for hardware device consolidation and the opportunity to remove unnecessary printing altogether resulting in a reduction in print output, costs and wastage. Print Management software was introduced as part of a trial, proof of concept, enabling Vision and KFH to fully scope and determines areas of focus that included development of printing profiles for emails printing in duplex and mono as default and redirection of large colour printing.
Vision implemented comprehensive print management software along with 119 new technologically-advanced full colour multifunctional devices and 42 colour printer devices across 54 KFH sites.
Vision's solution also ensures all printing is controlled allowing KFH to manage and monitor usage by user, branch location, device, cost centre and apply rules to an individual user, printing and the software application utilised such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint etc.
The solutions can also be utilised to educate users of the monetary and environmental cost of printing and encourages staff to take ownership of their paper output.
Vision appointed a member of its Project Management Team at the very start of implementation with regular meetings and updates to ensure all project goals and time lines were met. Vision's project management works to a proven and tested methodology and KFH aligned members of the company's IT Support team that worked together with Vision. Both teams played a significant role in the successful transition to the new solution and success of the project. Vision implemented its Remote Management application prior to go live enabling access to asset locations and device data to assist with both the implementation and future service delivery.
The project specification evolved throughout the process until KFH were confident they had the right solution that met all their requirements and complemented their business culture.
