Vision are delighted to be recognised and included in this annual celebration and list of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic businesses. This is a tremendous achievement, demonstrating Vision’s consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming industry peers.

1000 Companies to Inspire Britain is an annual celebration of some of the fastest-growing and most dynamic enterprises in the UK. As well as identifying 1,000 companies, the annual report examines in detail the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs and looks at the sectors and trends that will shape the future of the UK economy.

Vision is well established in the technology sector for Managed Printing and Document Solutions, Unified Telecommunications, IT Services and Supplies and the growth of this sector in Britain continues to outstrip GDP and is helping in the UK's reputation as a global springboard for new enterprises.

The UK tech sector has been growing faster than any other part of the economy for some years, with the number of tech-related companies rising by 31% since 2010. That is equivalent to 45,000 new businesses, or one new company every hour of every day for the past five years. Confidence is high and tech bosses predict steady growth will continue in the coming year.

Tech Sector at a glance

  • 12.4% – The proportion of the UK economy accounted for by technology and digital business, more than any other G20 country
  • 1.46 million – The number of people employed in UK digital industries
  • 15% – The proportion of 2013-14 UK start-ups that were digital companies

Philip Bond, Vision's Managing Director commented “We are very proud of the groups achievements and this outstanding recognition. We are building a strong organisation and laying foundations to sustain consistent growth that is focused on delivering world class solutions and services to clients with plans to expand the group further as part of a comprehensive business plan”.
